just hope you don't get two native examiners.

moshi:
what's the difference between having native/non-native examiners?

well a non-native examiner would not know all the vocabulary you use, and so they will butt in and ask you.. 商品ってどいう意味ですか. which will require you to explain to that examiner what a 'product' is. When I had my orals, I had two natives, and so not one of them asked me to define a key word or anything, that makes it look like I only memorized my script without understanding any of the details.

moshi:
oh ok, thanks for that. I'd originally thought they'd ask you anyway just to make sure you knew what you were on about, but it doesn't seem like that according to you! Did you get many questions that weren't entirely from your script then, or did you just go from start to finish without a hitch? Unlikely, but just curious as to what they did ask you

sonnypls:
My topic was vending machines and the points I wanted to talk about included, The types of vending machines, the good and bad points and the up and coming age verification vending machines.
They didn't ask me one question about the age verification machines, instead they asked me how do vending machines make food hot/warm, how much electricity does a vending machine use and the amount of vending machines in Japan.. just to name a few.
