Timetable question...

So i was just looking at Allocate+ and I saw this...

I can't put a preference for the second part of the lecture, so does this mean that if i pick the thursday lecture for part 1 and i get my first preference i'll get the friday lecture for part 2?

It would be a hell of a lot easier for me if i could get both part 1 and 2 on thursday.. is there any way i can achieve this or am i just stuck with thursday and friday?..

Allocate+ will only let you pick in the lots they've got - however, there are multiple ways around this:

1. MULO. Pick either the second or first, and watch the alternate lecture online while at uni still. (I'd suggest picking the Tuesday-Thursday one, then watching the Tuesday lecture at 2:00 on Thursday, when the other first lecture is).

2. Mix streams. It's not uncommon for people to go to lectures they're not enrolled in on Allocate. The only downside is one lecture stream might be moving faster than the other, and so you might miss a few things.

3. Skip lectures and MULO it up. Attending lectures is for plebs anyway. :P Plus 1.5x speed~

4. Go by the book, attend lectures as lined out, although that doesn't seem to appeal to you. :P

This. Assuming it's your standard massive first year unit, you should have absolutely no issue with going to whatever stream.
