Transfer Monash Uni Commerce to Melb Uni Commerce

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has transferred to melbourne uni commerce and what their WAM was? Also if I was to get around a 76-78 average what would be the likelihood of receiving an offer? I know a WAM of 75 is considered competitive but are most people that receive that WAM offered a place?
Thanks for the help,
James

I'd say you have a good shot. Someone from my high school got 75 average and got in so yeah, try your best and hope for the best :)

depends on your past history too including high school.

I had a WAM of 90 and wasn't considered for midyear

They look at your last 12 months of full-time study. So if you've completed first year uni, then they won't look at your high school marks. But if you only completed one semester of uni, then they'll look at high school marks as well.
2012 ATAR - 86.75
2013 ATAR - 88.50
2014: BSci (Statistics) at RMIT
2015 - 2017: BCom at UoM

This seems to be a fairly common idea - that Melbourne doesn't look at your school scores after your first year...
A friend of mine was in a similar situation to yours , she wanted to transfer into Melbourne Commerce from a course she wasn't enjoying. Had a fairly average WAM (early 70ish If I remember correctly), and called Melbourne Uni asking for advice, and the operator said that they only look at First year scores, so she probably wouldn't get in.  But she had a 96 Atar, so applied anyway through Vtac, and they accepted her.
