What's the difference between VCE English and VCE English Language?

I've not yet watched the whole video, but from what I have watched, this looks like a great resource.

From personal experience, choosing between English, English Language and Literature can be difficult; I certainly spent a long time considering my options. Something like this would have made that process a lot easier.
