Writing a discussion in practical reports

Hey guys,

I was wondering what should be included in the discussion apart from any calculations. I was told that it needs to be roughly around 3 quarters of a page long so what else should I include? Observations? Errors that occurred?

Thanks!

It's sort of in the name - you need to DISCUSS the experiment.

Why were you doing the experiment?
Did anything bad happen?
Why did the bad thing happen?
Did anything good happen?
Why did the good thing happen?
Did you science?
How did you science?

Essentially, anything relating to the prac which isn't your results table, or your answering of the aim (which is to be left for the conclusion), is fair game. Talk about the processes you went through and how they were good/bad. This website here lays it out nicely.
