I thought the exam was quite fair except for Joel's stuff.
The gut MCQs were poorly worded and ambiguous.
The sensory transduction question was bullcrap as well.

Made many silyl errors across teh exam but I found the rest of the questions from the lecturers very fair especially Andrew's.

Was alright except for all the gut questions haha
First one was chemical, then light, then mechano wasn't it? And the Light something something of the retina. At least that's what I put lol

I thought first one was mechano with deformable receptors

Actually I had retina in the light system something something. Last one I put chemoreceptors
yep chemoreceptors for the last one, nothing else seemed to fit

I had that as well. I was super confused because I thought deformable sensitive could possibly have fit as well in teh first blank.

There was absolutely nothing....
I actually studied that pretty hard :( Literally nothing on the stem cells for repair as well

Sigh...
Overall I actually thought it was quite fair - just Joels gut questions and computer modelling questions were cooked as well...

What was the answer to the one where it mentioned "collective memory" in the computer simulation model?

I put A I think, the option that mentioned the content addressable memory, but I can in no way argue that it is the correct answer...

Reading through the gut questions made me feel like I did no study whatsoever

Not on the MST either

Did anyone ever bring this up with the coordinator? They could have told us if the guest lecturers weren't going to provide exam questions -.-

Yeh I ended up with that as well.

Tbh even if I had 1 extra week of study I don't thnk I would've performed any better - like just his questions felt so ambiguous (i.e. the one about the ENS being the largest autonomic system - I wasn't sure what to even put for this [I think I ended up with the another option] because some lecturers/professors/academics don't even view the ENS as another part of the ANS)

Yeah that's I meant, it's sad our study efforts can't pay off when you get questions like that in an exam

Yeah.. felt the same way, those gut questions  ???
Shame that there were so many questions about it, and it was taught badly, and no questions on SCI which was taught well

Was pretty ridiculous - no questions on SCI and no questions on Stem cell repair which was actually extremely interesting and as you said taught well.
