Is it necessary for specialist students to do all extended questions in the textbook if we want to score raw 40+ for ss?

Thanks!  :)

No. Doing specific questions =/= getting specific grades. Understanding the material does, however.

ohh thanks, but we still need to do a lot of practices, so is it better if i just rush through the textbook with a moderate understanding and start doing past exams as soon as possible?

I think it's important to understand the theory well, but in saying that, doing as many relevant practice questions as soon as possible is also very important. So essentially, you don't have to complete ALL extended response textbook questions as most of them aren't indicative of exam-style qs, however do as many as you need to feel comfortable with the theory.

Just remember that Q's in textbooks are usually to teach/make sure you understand the material, rather than to be exam-like
