I know what you are saying, but sometimes you have to think about being real and face what is actually going to happen - rather than what you would like to happen? Because disappointments are a part of life, and maybe too frequent with mine, haha :(
don't let one year make you unhappy, just try your best, know that there are so many ways to get into your course

"Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." Winston Churchill

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." Thomas A. Edison

You have a choice: you can choose to stay the way you are now, getting bogged down, believing you can't change, thinking you're a failure, dwelling on the fact that your vocab is a mess and your ideas are rubbish, spending so much time stressing about how you can't that you can't figure out how to improve.  That's what I did last year for English.  And remember,

'If you think you can't, you're right.' Henry Ford

Or, you can choose to change.  Today.

And if you think you can, you're right.

It's still early in the year, SAC averages can be turned around dramatically and even so, your exam carries the most influential weight towards your SS. Heck, you got months to prepare for the exam.
