Size of folio?

Hi guys,

I'm doing unit 3/4 studio art this year and I'm wondering what size roughly should our folios be. Is A4 acceptable? Or are we better off using A3? And roughly how many pages should we have completed by the end of the year? 60? 120? Obviously quality > quantity but what would the average amount be?

Dunno about how many pages, but all the folios I have seen have been A3. I guess it just gives better detail when you are printing your trials and what not
