Is it still possible to get 40+?

Hello,
I did my first SAC for chemistry and was told that it was worth 10% of my study score. Unfortunately, probably due to my stress and depression, this year I got very average and poor scores in all my subjects.
English: 57%
Biology: 87%, 76% and 72%
Chemistry: 70%
Teachers have told me that there were people from my school last year who got A+ in every chemistry SAC but did not manage to get 40+. At the moment I feel very down and demotivated because I use to always get excellent marks in these subjects. Is it still possible for me to get 40+ in these subjects or am I doomed.

I know its hard, but keep strong, you know what no one can determine your study score just by your sacs, students getting A+ all year screwed up in there exam and got 35<, honestly just keep going strong, don't let sac rankings determine your study score, just do your best

Well firstly, the majority of the reason for why so many people get A+s in school is because the students actually have the SACs with them. My school doesn't like to change the SACs, and uses the same ones every year, so the year 12's of every year end up selling them to the new year 12 students. Heck, many people get A+s, good on them, they are wonderful cheaters. Don't worry about that student who got A+ all year but didn't end up with a 40+, because I can tell you right now that a student with less than A for his SACs all year, and also got a D on his first chem sac with rank ~15 got a 50, raw. How though, well people from his school had the chemistry sacs, so all the top end students didn't end up with 40+ because they had never actually sat a proper SAC, as they would've had the answers previously. This guy didn't give up, with a total of 75+ practice exams for chem, he full marked the exam, yes, full marks.

Don't give up, the least you can do is keep pushing, no one ever said it would be easy. Believe in yourself and put your faith in your work. Head up!

Nah

Was just about to comment on how it's impossible to get 50 with less than scaled A+ SACS ;)

Not forgetting that the highest that you could if you didn't get A+ scaled SACs would be a 46 (provided you got an A for your SACs that is) :P

So i guess SACs really do make a difference in study scores. So when people say 'it's all about the exam', it really isn't, right?

Sacs play a part, but for example if you get 100 on all sacs, then the highest exam score was 60, they all get pushed down severly, exam counts a lot, if you drop a few marks on exam you can still get high 40's even if sacs are shit because it is worth more

Depends on the subject. For Math Methods the study score is only 34% sacs while the two exams are 66%. The second exam is worth 33%, almost as much as the sacs for the year. So you can see why some people really think the exams are important as sac scores are also effected from the exam marks. But in the end all you can do is just try your best. Don't go all out on the SAC's and bomb out on the exam but don't think you can make up for bad SAC marks if you ace the exam, find the point in between.

Do you know how much chemistry SACs are worth?

Wait, isn't methods exam 2 worth 44%?

Do you know how much chemistry SACs are worth?
20% for Unit 3 and 20% for Unit 4 (separate ranks since they correspond to GA1 and GA2) so 40% altogether :)

Wait, isn't methods exam 2 worth 44%?
Haha yeah it is!
