What a way to end that final!!! Amazing stuff... I don't even barrack for Geelong and i'm absolutely thrilled!!

Hands down, so happy they won. Really love the vibe in Geelong when they're winning. The train station I go to today was decked out in Geelong paraphernalia.

Thought Giants had a chance... but didn't expect them to be dominant. That second half was destructive.

Was always going to be tough going interstate for an elim final. Pretty poor effort at the moment, if I do say so myself. Very disappointing.

I hope they can make a great comeback.... but I know it's highly unlikely.

Was the first time i've genuinely been upset due to a loss. A mix of reasons: The last game for the four guys & the lack of actual effort/consistency/etc over the season. It was a game we could've won as the scores weren't that distant at half time - but seems like we just gave up and were turning over, kicking poorly etc. for no good reason [something that we should've fixed]. I guess we still had a fair few players out of action still due to injury but it really is no excuse. It feels like the 2014 prelim where Sydney thumped us - but at least that was a prelim and not the first stage of the finals.

I want GWS to win it, but would be happy with Bulldogs too. You know, one of those 'less popular' clubs that don't have the ability to 'cash splash' (Exception here is GWS because they're a new team, building from the ground up). I'll consider the year a win as long as Hawthorn or Sydney don't win it [time for someone else to have a go].

Yeah the effort was terrible tonight, I actually thought NM would come in with extreme intensity because of Harvey, Petrie etc. Sad end for NM, I reckon they won't make finals next year, going to slip to 10-12 and rebuild from next year.

As for who wins, I also don't care as long as Hawthorn do not win it. I was at the game on Friday supporting Geelong, actually love some of their players (Danger, Blicavs) and tbh they are the most loveable dominant team. It's just Selwood who people hate but everyone else is cool :D.

GWS winning it would be crazy though. i love it when non-vic teams win! Big troll for the AFL haha

JLT Community Series starts tomorrow night w/ Collingwood v Essendon. Thought it would be an appropriate time to bump the footy thread again :)
