So this probably a pretty basic question but some help would be greatly appreciated.

0.10 mole of C4H9OH reacts completely with molecular oxygen, O2. The number of mole oxygen used is?

Alrighty so i'll just list out the steps:

1) Obtain the combustion equation
2) Balance the equation

Once you have the balanced combustion equation, just multiply the number of moles of C4H9OH (0.10 mol) with the amount of oxygen that reacted.
