Effectiveness of revision lectures

(1/3) > >>

sugary_sweet:
In attempting to achieve the best mark I can possibly achieve, should I be seeking to attend revision lectures? If you have attended any lectures in the past, to what degree did they consolidate or enrich your knowledge?

(I guess its relative to the individual and the chosen company, but I'm just seeking some insight.)

Thanks for your time!*~  :smitten:

I thought they were quite useful for my mid year exams, in particular TSFX revision sessions. At the time of the TSFX chem revision lectures I knew very little, and I honestly felt that the revision lecture helped me consolidate my knowledge and the very detailed notes were a good base for me to study from.

i reckon the revision lecture at tsfx for psych was pretty good... i rarely did anywork in psychology and achieved 68/100 for unit 3, after going to the exam revision i knew a lot more .

i actually compared my prac exam marks before the lecture and after the lecture.
vcaa exams
before the tsfx lecture
06: 43/90
after the tsfx lecture and reading the note book.
07:73/90
08:70/90

my exam mark maatched some of those who achieved sac scores that were alot higher then mine. [75-90]

I found the exam revision lectures I attended (as in, the GOOD ones) to be very helpful! ^_^

There were a couple of duds in the mix... but if you sift through the advice here on the forums, you may be able to avoid them.
