Titration error analysis help pls - SAC tomorrow!

For a titration, how would the calculated result of the unknown substance be affected (under/over-estimated or same) if the unknown solution was in the burette (which was only rinsed with water)?

And how would the calculated result be affected (under/over-estimated or same) if the unknown solution was in the burette (appropriately rinsed) and the pipette was only rinsed with water?

Explanations would be appreciated! Thanks  :)

I find it's helpful to think in terms of how the rinsing affect the concentration of whatever's in each container, and whether it's important.

So, for the burette rinsing part- water in the burette will dilute whatever's in it. Does the concentration matter in this case? Yes- it will increase the volume of the titre.

In the same way, what happens if there's a dilution in the pipette? Does it matter?

Spoiler
Yes, because more volume with less moles of stuff = smaller titre.
