Hi guys, I was just wondering among the 3 level-3 accounting subjects, which one is the hardest? I'm thinking of doing two of them in Sem1 next year and another one in Sem2. Also, would you guys recommend Tax Law 2 to those majoring in accounting? Thank you!

Well, from a scale of 1 to 10, FAT is probably a 7, EPM is 6.5, and Audit is 7.5. So yeah they're not that hard but you need to study consistently throughout the sem, otherwise it would be harder. I think Level 2 subjects are more technical, while Level 3 subjects are more theoretical, behavioural, and concepts-based.

Personally I recommend TL2 if you're gonna do your CA/CPA or if you're wanting to apply for a tax graduate role (I'm in a Tax Grad Program myself), as it would help boost your technical knowledge about topics not included in TL1 but are otherwise very important e.g. trusts, international tax rules, tax administration, etc

How hard did you find TL2 compared to TL1?
