School experience as breadth EDUC20080

Hi all,
I'd like to be a teacher later in life, and I found this subject in the handbook and it looks as though it would be great experience. However, there is very little helpful information about it anywhere. It isn't in the 2015 timetable yet, and in the 2014 one it apparently has about 20 workshops at the same time on the same day, so obviously they haven't quite figured out formatting yet. So my questions are - has anybody actually done this subject? And what is the policy on placement? Do they arrange it to be on days that suit your timetable, or do you get dispensation to miss subjects for it, or how does that work? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi there,

I'm sorry to be reviving an old post but I was wondering if anyone got back to you about your queries? I'm looking into this subject (yep, browsing the handbook instead of exam study) and would love to know!

Cheers
