So, I'm pretty confused right now because I'm the only student in my studio arts class so i would really appreciate some assistance from anyone seeing this. What is everyone up to in terms of their folio? I know its due in like, now i think, so how many pages/folios has everyone done? I'm feeling a tad lost which is expected
Also, does anyone know what will happen to my scaling or the system surrounding that due to my circumstance?
I also haven't done the KEY thing - Analytical Frameworks???? teacher didn't even tell me about it, so is that essential?
Adding on, are we supposed to include information in our folio about galleries?

god im lost, any help would be GREATLY appreciated !!!
help a brother out  :'(

My unit 3 folio is due this Thursday, I've done about 70 pages, but going off of sample folios I have seen I'm going to be cramming a lot of extra ideas in these last few days. Feels like I've been living in the art room lately!

I'm not sure what you mean by analytical frameworks, are you referring to the assessment rubrics? Perspectives by which artworks are analysed and described?

There is nothing about galleries in the folio assessment criteria, but it doesn't hurt to do so for your own exam preparation! That area of study actually isn't even until unit 4 so I wouldn't stress if you're running out of time for this folio. It's definitely worth visiting some galleries, and speaking with staff about their operations first hand, as well as getting to discover new artists!

Always good to double check with your teacher though, as perhaps they're assessing that outcome in the folio also?

Good luck!

My teacher also said he'd grade my folio from about a B+ to a low A, not sure if thats good but hopefully my unit 4 folio will be even better :\ hbu?

Can anyone else contribute about their progress, it would be greatly appreciated!! :D

Yeah I'm the same, after realizing how much work goes into a folio I should be far more prepared for unit 4. I received a 51/60 but I don't know what that is as a letter grade. Looking back there were so many things I could have done but oh well. Kids who say art is an easy subject have NO IDEA!

You can always improve folios, no matter how good they are - that's the frustrating thing, I think.

I didn't do Studio Art, but I did do VCD, in which I full marked both folios. My advice here is not to worry too much about how many pages you have, but the quality of your ideas and execution.

Best of luck. :)
