Anyone who have successfully internally transferred to B. Engineering Honours at Monash care to share?

I want to apply for Electrical Engineering at Monash, but unfortunately they don't offer B. Engineering in mid-year intake, and I am afraid my mark is not clearly in ATAR for Engineering.

So I am going to apply for these course, hoping that I will have enough marks (min WAM of 60) to transfer to B. Engineering :
B. computer science 83.20
B. information technology and Systems 78.19 (Caufield)
B. software engineering 88.10
B. science 85
B. Business information System 80.10

1. Which one is the best course for transferring to Engineering (Honours)?

2. All of the courses above have 48 units of free electives, and in all of them it's written that the free electives may be chosen  from disciplines offered by another faculty.
So basically, I can do all of units that Electrical Engineering students do in their first year, can't I?

3. Information Technology and Systems is offered in Caufield. Is it possible to take courses in Clayton if I get accepted into this course?

4. Is it true that my marks from one of the courses above will not be transferred as the exact value of the marks to Engineering? So it will be transferred only as EXEMPTED credits.
I read that from here :
A Predicament with Credit Application

5. From here : http://www.eng.monash.edu.au/current-students/course-transfer.html

Quote
To be eligible for a course transfer, you must meet all of the following:

1. be a current student who will be continuing their program of study (in other words, you have not completed your current degree).
2. completed a minimum of 12 credit points of study at Monash
3. meet the VCE, IB or equivalent prerequisites for the course to which you wish to transfer. Prerequisites for engineering programs are listed on Course Finder.

And WAM required is minimum 60

So basically I only need to :
1.  do one semester worth of study (4 units, 24 credit points)
2. get WAM more than 60,
and then  I will almost be guaranteed to be accepted to Engineering?

Bachelor of Science is your best bet, a lot of the units you do in first year eng can be credited with units from the science faculty, like im fairly certain MTH1030 gets credited for something (ENG1090?) and the physics can also be credited.

As of next year Software Engineering will be with the Engineering Faculty (which is stupid imo) so you might be able to sneak in there?
