Generally a pass is 50%, but it depends on how much your exam, prac, assignments etc are weighted. I know for bio you also have to get at least 50% in the prac component of the subject, regardless of what your overall mark is.

So it wouldn't be 40% plus 30%, but rather:
40% multiplied by how much the pracs are weighted
+ 30% multiplied by how much the exam is weighted
+ whatever other assesments you have/ilts/ online tests etc

All you can do now is hope that you did better than you think you have, and (usually that's the case for me) you might get your results are find that they aren't what you expected, or if everyone found the exam hard maybe they'll boost up everyone's marks or something (unlikely but possible).

The handbook links to the subjects you listed are as follows:

https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/CHEM10003
https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/BIOL10004
https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/PHYC10005

None of them specify a pass in the exam as a hurdle requirement in the 'Assessment' section, which does mean that you can technically pass the subject if you fail the exam, provided your weighted assessment adds up to more than 50% overall. Note, however, that the subjects you listed all have a hurdle requirement of passing the practical component, so you DO need to get at least 50% in prac marks to pass the subject.

For an example of a subject that DOES have a hurdle requirement of passing the exam to pass the subject, see the 'Assessment' section of ESD2:
