Unit 2 Physics - Preparation Necessary?

I've just transferred into Unit 2 Physics (having not done Unit 1), and intend to complete Units 3 and 4 next year.

What would I have missed from Unit 1 that I should know for Units 2,3,4? Should I just read through the Unit 1 section of the textbook?

I really don't want to be disadvantaged, and am willing to work hard to achieve a good score next year.

Thanks  :)

There was a thread about this a couple days ago i think. Anyway, Unit 1 really just covers Electricity. That is the only topic that carries over to Unit 3/4. The electricity you learn in 1/2 is just the basics, but you still need to use these in 3/4. In my experience, electricity was exactly the same as it was last year, but you keep learning and adding on different components. Everything all uses the same basic principles though. You won't be disadvantaged even if you don't go over it this year since you go over everything again, however briefly. Just reading and understanding the main concepts and formulas should suffice enough, especially if you are motivated to work hard. Nothing from unit 1 carries over into unit 2 as well.
