Not using the textbook

Was just wondering if there is anyone who got 45+ raw without using the Oxford textbook or any other prescribed textbook. It's just the textbook is so lengthy and I don't learn best just reading and writing notes I prefer a much condensed version of notes but I'm worried that if I don't use the textbook I'd be at a disadvantage. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Have you taken a look at the macmillan textbook? I found it really useful and a lot of my notes ended up being from this book. Maybe you could check if your library has a copy or get a cheap one from someone.

I'd also recommend the A+ notes which are a brief summary of the course, they are quite expensive but if you can't get a copy of the other textbook it might be worth it.
