Breadth subject

I'm a science student looking for recommendations for a semester 2 breadth subject.
I would prefer an easy-going and interesting subject, not that I want to bludge, but I want to be able to put more focus on my other core subjects.

Also, has anybody studied ANTH10001- Anthropology: Studying human diversity?

Thanks

I loved LING10001 The Secret Life of Language (it was run S2 last year) - a good mixture of really interesting content and fairly relaxed workload. I found it to have a reasonable workload, and the assignments are fine and easy to get high scores on (but do them with a friend! Bouncing ideas off one another is helpful). Our final exam was also not too hard - I managed to get a (low) H1 on the final without any sleep, and so did my friend, so I'm guessing if you're properly prepared you could ace it.

I've heard EDUC10051 Sports Coaching: Theory and Practice was a really laid back subject but at times interesting subject. I think you are given talks by different athletes who tell you how they prepare for their sports events and competitions. Its also a bit like PE class apparently. Plus theres no exam. There should be a subject review on this page University of Melbourne - Subject Reviews & Ratings . Hope that helps
