Nifty right? Just leave that 2 in the denominator, and then for sine you go up from 0 to 4. Then for cosine, you just go down from 4 to 0.

For tan, I only used what made sense to me. I just memorised tan(π/4) = 1 and then was like
Ok, √3 is always involved when I'm dealing with tan.
The smaller tan(π/6) goes with the smaller 1/√3
The larger tan(π/3) goes with the larger √3

You need to know all of it, all prelim content is assessable at the HSC level! Particularly, you should be good at using the sine/cosine rule and solving trig equations, they are the most common, but you need to be familiar with everything! ;D
