Is my 40 study score dream over ?

So I recently got my sac marks back and I don't think I can get a 40+ study score with them

Core sac- 91%
Linear module sac-85%
I've dropped a lot of marks in the linear module sac and was wondering if that'd be detrimental to me obtaining a 40+. How hard is it to get a 40+? I know my sac marks Should be a lot higher but it's depressing knowing you have 3 people ranked ahead of you when you work so hard

One of my mates was rank 25 and got a 44, and several others got 40s without even being ranked that highly. It's definitely possible

Bruh, for a subject like Further, the exams has a 66% weighting so theres many opportunities to improve your ranking since its term 2 right now (?) so your sacs aren't all done yet. That said, don't waste those opportunities and make note of your mistakes so they don't happen again and start doing some prac exams. In short, your dream ain't over, not until the exams are done.

I know it's not entirely true when people say "exams are all that count" but there is an element of truth behind it. Last year I dropped considerable amounts of marks on each sac for further and ended up rank 8 in a moderate cohort. I still managed to achieve a 50 with a premiers award because of my exam scores. As others said as long as you don't do too badly on sacs you will always have a decent shot at a 40.
2014: [Further 50 (Premiers')]
2015: [Specialist 43][Methods 50 (Premier's)] [Physics 49][English Language 45][Accounting 42]

Waaaaaaat! That's crazy man! I thought in further even getting 100 on both exams didn't guarantee a 50‰

Can you please elaborate? I'm kind of in this situation, I know I'm not rank one (maybe 5-10). Thanks!

He was rank 21 in a shit cohort (only like 5 scores over 40) before the exams, and then smashed both exams (almost 100 on both, I think he dropped some marks on the second exam) and got a raw 44, which was equal highest in the cohort

Don't worry about it.  A huge amount of your study score comes from the exams so you can definitely get above 40 with good exam performance. Also, I actually did worse than you on my Core SAC (which is worth the most), and my SAC scores overall were not as high as I would've liked them to be and my study score turned out alright.

That really shows how much the exams are worth in Further, so just aim to smash the exams from here!

Whitefriars in donvale, probs never heard of it
Ranked about 150 last year, only a handful of 40s in further, so it's not like our sacs scaled up crazily or anything
