I seriously agree with you!

Parents think a 99.95 is expected, a 99.90 is below expectations and less than that is terrible

But that's the family I'm raised in and I can't do anything about it

Fair enough, I mean there's really nothing you can do other than try your best! Of course the priority is that you don't stress yourself out - placing too much stress on yourself is bad enough, I would know, but it would not be remiss to say that unnecessary external pressures are worse.

aiming for a premier's prize is ridiculous.

i say this not because it's impossible (it's not), but the kid at my school last year who netted a 50 (40/40 80/80 statements for both) did not receive a premier's prize.

3 marks lost giving 48 depends on your sac scaling/sac marks. if you are rank 1 at your school and drop 3 that gives 49 almost every year.

regardless keep up the work mate and be sure to take some breaks.
