Does Further maths unit 3 and 4 involve a high workload?

I am in Year 11, and i am finding accounting unit 1 and 2 slightly dry and it involves a lot of practice. My friends all say that Further Maths is more easier and that it involves less effort. What i want to know is if Further mathematics involves alot of homework and revision that accounting or if the workload is less intensive?

I don't think it takes a particularly large workload, especially relative to some other subjects. However, thinking "ah I've got an easy workload for Further and I'm doing well on my SACs" is a recipe to getting a 33. I think Further is mostly a case of "study enough to ace the tests, then go nuts on practising for exams", so in that sense, the workload doesn't dictate as much consistency as a subject like Psychology might.

I agree, the subject itself its not hard, but getting a high mark involves as much work as any other subject. Im actually doing better, and enjoy, methods more than further  :P

The maths in further isn't too hard - so in that sense, it doesn't take a lot of work to understand the concepts.

However, if you are wanting to do well, further often has a lot of trick questions and phrasing which require you to really work on your accuracy and ability to filter questions.

Ultimately the workload isn't too bad. But as the others mentioned, it all depends on how well you want to do!
