cud anyone pls help solve this

The pH of a gastric juice is about 2, Gastric juice contains a stong acid called hydrochloric acid. HCL. and the concentration of chlorice ion is about 0.01 M

Given that Coca-Cola contains a small proportion of phosphoric acid, how will drinking a can of Coke affect the concentration of chloride ions of 0.01M

i think i am having trouble interpreting this question.

anyidea? tkx

As I understand it, it doesn't affect the concentration of hydrochloric acid because water is in excess, and none of the ions contained in a molecule of phosphoric acid will react with chloride. Therefore HCl and H3PO4.

Alternatively, hydrochloric acid is a strong acid and will completely dissociate in solution, so either way, it will have a very large Ka value.

the volume of coke drunk will change the volume of solution in the stomach and hence the concentration of Cl- ions?
