Hey everyone. First part of the exam is over. Time for people to start comparing answers. My modules and answers are below

Core: EBEAABDCACADD
Number Patterns: DDEEBDCAD
Graphs and Relations: BECADBCEC
Matrices: BEBEDDAAC

What did everyone else get? No doubt there'll be an in-depth explanation soon, but for everyone who wants to quickly gague how they did.

Networks 6 is definitely not E. X connects to V in 2 different routes. Its A

For geometry and trig, I got A for question 9 as well, but apparently the solution is B (since its k squared and not k cubed). Is it true that further is 1 mark per study score lost because I am seriously stressing right now haha

:( yeah, I put A as well :( well, I was in a good mood all afternoon until right now, haha. I'm pretty sure the -1 mark = -1 s.s. doesn't apply to every situation, but from what I've seen in other threads it generally seems to be the case? idk

For question 9 the geometry and trigonometry module is the answer A or B? Is it B because all the lengths of the triangular prism haven't been altered by the same ratios and thus the length ratio doesn't apply?
And for matrices is the answer to question 7 A? I kind of guessed B because of the 1/w^2 and it looked like it related to the 1/det (det=ad-bc)  when finding the inverse matrix?? Could someone please explain to me how to go about solving it?
so sad can you really only lose one mark across both exams to obtain a 50?  :'(

99% of the time, losing only 1 mark will result in a 50 given your ranking/cohort strength is good. A 50 is also possible but very unlikely if you lose 2. Don't worry too much about marks now though, just focus on acing the next exam.

Quick question... you got a 48 in Further right, how many marks did you loose?

Because the only mark I lost (based on the your answers) is question 9 on geo & trig... and I really want a 48+ for Further

I dropped 2 marks on exam 1, full marks on exam 2 and my sac scores were 97/100 (so I think rank 3 in my year?). So yeah that's definitely possible for you if you ace Monday's exam!

And I also got q9 wrong initially, yeah was definitely a tricky one  :(

I hear some speculation on question 6 CORE, I got B but some people say it's A(something to do with the outliers).
Can someone confirm this?
