selective entry school interview help?

like when they ask u why do u think u deserve to be in this school and stuff?what do u think is the best answer?like i mean the standard response is i think i'm really all rounded academic wise to extra curricular activities and i can blend in and make new friends easily and so on
but do u guys think theres like something special worth mentioning thats gona really impress the interviewer?please share ur thoughts

Selective schools have plenty of people who shine in this domain, but if you can explain your passion for knowledge or any extracurricular achievements, you'll stand out from the rest. Keep in mind that both Mac.Rob and MHS have extensive leadership programs, so if you can show that you've been involved in any community work/lead any groups, you'll be viewed favourably in the interview.

Show an understanding of the ethos of whatever school you're going for. If you can show that your values are in line with the institution, that'll demonstrate that you belong.

Definitely mention extracurricular activities and how your involvement (or enthusiasm to try new things) will benefit the school.  Generally speaking, schools and even employers love well-rounded students who are not only high achievers academically, but also love to embrace learning outside the classroom.

I'm not sure about selective schools, but generally, a student who chains themselves to a desk 24/7 is frowned upon by many people.
