Study Score Prediction?

Sorry about asking this question again.. hahaz i posted this in the other mid year forum, but wanted some more advice.. just reposting this..

yeah i got my statement of marks and it turns out i got the lowest of the lowest A+'s, that is if i had lost one more mark, it would have been an A. Do you think i could still get 45+ for Chemistry? I'm very very disappointed actually, my SAC marks have been averaging around an A+, so i have lost all hope for chemistry.. i'm not sure if i'm going to do well at all... Sorry, i sound stupid don't i..

haha you applied for your statement of marks
sounds like less than 45 is almost like a fail to you haha
I've heard an A and an A+ still getting a 42 so 45 might be possible

Considering it's 33% exam 1, 33% exam 2
getting two exact mid A+'s would be almost the same as a very low A+ and a very high A+

and i think in chem that gives around 45'ish.

And what makes you say that?

Please don't tell me the answer is 'because the exam was hard'.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scaling is independant of exam performance, it is based on your performance in your other subjects.

Well more accurately, the entire cohort's performance in their other subjects.

Sorry if this isn't what you'd like to hear/read, but my friend's sister had 3 A+'s for chem and only got 39, but that was quite a few years ago.
