should i do chem?

I don't really know what course to do after high school so should I do it? to keep my options open?

If your unsure and you have no real problem with the following subjects I'd suggest to do both chemistry and methods to open up the majority of course options.  :)

If you're interested in chem, do it.

If you're interested in STEM, but not sure specifically what in STEM, do it.

If you have no interest in STEM, don't do it.

If you hate/dislike chemistry, don't do it - any course that has it as a pre-req will not be enjoyed, no point trying to beat a dead horse.

Yeah just do it if you don't know - med and dent (nursing?) have it as prereq, as does biomedicine.
Plus, it's fun if you're a science kid.
tl;dr - yes do it.
