3rd Year Breadth Selections

Hi all,
I'm going into 3rd year of Biomed and wondering about breadth subjects - in fact i've got 'selective' subjects still open, so I can conceivably do pretty much any subject offered! That's exciting but obviously also a bit daunting...
Wondering about recommendations for subjects that are:
1. Medium H1-achievable (85+)
2. Not too time-consuming
3. Reasonably interesting
4. Not a waste of time (unlike eg Glee Singing or African Drum and Dance )

I'm also unsure if it is true about applications for Med, that your first semester results from 3rd year are doubled, and given the normal weightings of 3:2:1 for 3rd year:2nd year:1st year, then 1st sem 3rd year = '6 units' = 50% of your WAM when applying.
Can anyone confirm?
If so, then do you have advice regarding the balance between choosing subjects based on being able to score well in them, along with being a subject that you would like to learn about.

Overall, have you got any subject recommendations for me?
Cheers
