Chemistry Units 1,2 Topics required for Units 3,4:
- Calculations with the mole - find molar mass, mass, concentration, volume, pressure (PV=nRT)
- Organic Chemistry - nomenclature
- Bonding - Intramolecular (metallic, ionic, covalent) and Intermolecular (dipole-dipole, dispersion forces, H-bonds etc)
- Acid-Base Chemistry - neutralisation reactions, weak vs strong acids
- Redox and Galvanic Cells
- Volumetric Analysis (understanding acid-base reactions), Gravimetric Analysis (understanding precipitation reactions)

And also how do I go aehead and do the year 12 stuff.
YEAR 12 UNIT 3/4 HEADSTART- CHEMISTRY
2014 - Math Methods CAS, Chinese SL
2015 - English, Specialist, Chemistry, Physics, Biology
2016-2020 - Monash University, Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) :D

To begin delving into Year 12 work, I would definitely read the textbook. If you have a study guide or summary like ChemNotes, then I would probably read that first, just to grasp what exactly you'll be in for, and then I would read the relevant chapters of the textbook. If you're a visual learner or auditory learner, I would recommend watching videos or podcasts in order to learn. I haven't come across any podcasts for VCE Chemistry, but I would recommend Edrolo videos to learn some chemistry. Once you think you have grasped the concepts, you can make some rough notes and then attempt to do some questions.

Also, print out a data book. Try to familiarise yourself with this data book as soon as possible. You can't afford to be frantically wasting time trying to locate relevant information during the exam room. Start using the data booklet now.

Good luck! :)

Oh, if you can, you should definitely attend a head start chemistry lecture as @mtse provided a link for.
