It's a pretty short chapter tbh
It talks about fermentation of starch to make ethanol (or something like that I gotta revise it tbh) - i think that's an important process to learn

Yes, I'd read through it. Understand the processes, uses, advantages, disadvantages, etc. All you really need to do is to synthesize a reasonable response for the exam, and to be aware of them (e.g. biodiesels are usually methyl esters of fatty acids, etc.) (possibly more for SACs, so watch out! :))
