Skipping lectures for prac

Hello,
I was looking at chemistry for biomedicine and noticed that some of the practicals clash with the only lectures available, are we allowed to not show up for these lectures? Also,this is somewhat unrelated. For experimental data analysis, the practicals have a chain icon. Does this mean that they are the 20% that will open later?

Lectures, AFAIK, are never compulsory unless stated otherwise. For most subjects you can just watch it on lecture capture in order to catch up. The chain icon for practicals for experimental data analysis means that they are linked; when you choose them, they will be chosen together on your timetable. This is because the 2hr prac sesh of EDDA is made up of 1 hr tutorial then 1hr of computer lab which occur one after the other.

In regards to the practicals for experimental data analysis, is there any reason why I cant add them? I press on them and nothing happens.

i'm not too sure as I'm not a first year student, but maybe because its full? Maybe screenshot the problem?!
