Incoming Chem Practicals - What am I suppose to do?

Hi,
I have my first ever practical for chem coming up in week one, and have no idea how to go about it. Can someone explain how the prac report works as well the writing up of preparative experiments work? Also, the first experiment embodies several parts - part a, part b, etc. When writing the prac report/preparative report thing, how do we go about writing the experimental method or do we have to write three different prac reports. Also, in relation to molar mass for working out moles, do we have to use a specific provider of the periodic table because not all books have the same molar mass for elements.

Relax buddy, your demonstrator will most likely outline how everything works in the first prac. Each demonstrator has different requirements for what they want in a report, so don't do anything you've preplanned, but rather just follow what your demonstrator wants. Again, the moles thingo will be told to you by your demonstrator; they may give the values for you or refer you to something else. Take it easy.

I know this because the quality of my reports compared to my mates were based on completely different formats; some needed to write a method, others just said 'refer to lab manual', some needed long winded answers others needed a single concise sentence. TL:DR just do what your demonstrator wants you to do, atleast at a first year level anyway
