I'm assuming you mean univariate?

In your data set, you may have many variables to look at (variables meaning things like age, height, weight). Univariate statistical analysis refers to looking at a single variable and drawing conclusions/analysing patterns from it using mean, median, mode, range, variance, standard deviation etc.

Uni referring to one.

So for example, you might collect data based on height and weight of 5 random hospital patients. Univariate involves analysing each variable individually.
