Hi guys
can someone pls give  ideas to include or suggestions my topic is" autism is a condition not a disease".. Im not sure how to go about it.

I suppose you could mention:

1. The so-called autism "spectrum", where there are several conditions, or even the fact that there is such a thing as a high-functioning autism. Obviously there is no "high-functioning disease". Yes, there are such terms as "chronic" or "acute" diseases, but not "high-functioning".

2. what medically constitutes a "condition" and what constitutes a "disease"

3. The fact you can't contract autism - it's there since birth

If you have any personal anecdotes relating to autism, you might want to use them to gain further credibility.

Is this really an "issue" you can argue? I mean I feel like this is a bit one-sided. It's not as though you could really argue to the contrary...

Yeah, I agree...perhaps you should pick a topic that has two arguable sides? This may make it easier for you.
