Is psych hard?

I'm thinking about swapping legal studies for psych. Is this a bad decision?? I heard that it has a lot more to remember than legal studies.

- lots of content ( like a lot, i would say more then Bio )
- It is very particular in terms of wording
- Really good if you put in the work as it is one of those subjects where hard work = marks

personally, found it much more rewarding than legal in that it can be quite applicable for your mental health/learning especially during year 12

However, i found legal much more monotonous and boring than psych (maybe that's just me) and didnt think psych was too particular about the wording  tbh, I really enjoyed my time in yr 12 psych overall this year...i recommend you to give it a shot

As a student who has done Units 1, 2 and 3 and is now going into Unit 4, Psychology is definitely a heavily content filled subject. You have lots of work to cover in a short amount of time and would do annotated folios which are like tests in SAC conditions which contribute to your ATAR once the whole folio is completed if in year 12, also you will do an ERA and other sacs (test based on chapters of psych). It's definitely an interesting subject and will be beneficial. Just remind yourself it isn't something that's super easy because you got to wrap your head around so many concepts. If your a hard worker you'll get the the subject pretty well but prepare for lots of work. Try to make it a priority and study lots for it.
