Forensics was never in 1/2 (AFAIK) and it was removed form the study design in 2013 for units 3/4 but some schools still teach it.

I agree with Sine. I do remember vaguely touching on DNA replication and the forensic profiling or something very similar. (That was way back in early term 1 for me ahaha) :)

Units 3/4 do not touch on it, it's not the study design this year so not on the exam I suggest checking the study design for unit 1&2 http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/vce/chemistry/ChemistrySD-2016.pdf
