I did Thinking scientifically last year for my 5th subject. Although it was all online, I thought the assessments weren't as easy as it sounded. I also found that there wasn't a consistent marking pattern - for the 2nd assignment (one where we had to describe a painting), our group wrote very similar points yet when the marks came back, we were suprised to find that some people got 100% while some others got 60%.

Dang, got me scared for it now.  :D Doing it this semester and everyone I've talked to who did it has said it was a breeze. Might need to put in some extra effort then

To add on top of that, it's a level 2 subject if I remember correctly.

True. My mistake. Can't think of any genuinely easy Level 3 Science in Sem2 then. Sem 1 there are a fair few.

Unfortunately I do engineering and I couldn't find shit either

My elective is MCEN30020: Systems modelling and analysis
I picked it because it seems to be mathy and abit interesting

I guess just pick something you'll be interested in otherwise it'll be much harder

that subject seems hard, but that's only because i hate anything dynamics related.
Maybe i will do a civil subject afterall, since i've found that they are the easiest out of all the engineering streams.
as for thinking sceintifically, there are 4 modules to do, EACH1000 words each :O. plus a take home exam and 3 quizzes!! hmhm doesn't sound like a "breeze" to me lol

Lol you're scaring me now loll
I've heard it's just maths, so I don't mind that

And yeah civil is definitely easier than other fields. That's part of the reason why I picked it over mechanical or electrical

I've cleaned some posts that are starting to derail the thread's intended purpose. Please make suggestions for subjects as outlined in the first post. If you want to discuss other matters (such as majors or other subjects which do not fit the description of the original question), feel free to find the right thread to do so :)  I'll be closing this thread if the off topic discussion continues.
