Hey was wondering what i actually need to include in discussing 'society' for chem questions.

It will always depend on the question. Think about how the development has ALTERED society (increased access to energy, decreased reliance on fossil fuels etc.) then make an assessment as to whether that is a good or bad thing, and WHY it is a good or bad thing. You should have a couple, different, specific impacts on society for each question type. It would be easier for me to answer you properly if you give me the area within which you are struggling!
