Hello everyone.

What is the likelihood if you achieve a 70% WAM to be able to transfer from Agriculture to Commerce?

Anyone tried this?

For Agriculture to Commerce, would likely need a higher WAM due to the higher ATAR requirements for Comm initially. Transferring from Environments to Science, I was told I'd need around a 75% WAM to be competitive.
2012: BM
2013: Physics, Spesh, Methods, English, Economics
ATAR: 97.55

2014 (Sem1): BEnvs
2014 (Sem 2) - 2017 (Sem 1): BSc (Mechanical & Civil Systems)
2014: ENVS10003, ENVS10007, ENVS10001, ENGR10004, MAST10007, PHYC10004
2015: COMP20005, MAST10006, BLAW10001, ENEN20002, ENGR20003, ENGR10003
2016: ENGR20004, MCEN30017, MAST20029, CVEN30008, EVSC30003, MCEN30014, CVEN30009, MCEN30020, SCIE20001

If you need any help or advice, PM me and I'll be happy to lend a hand :P

Not sure about Agriculture-Com, but I inquired about Sci-Com last year and they said you need 70% at a minimum for end of year transfer. I didn't know that your previous course was relevant though?

Yep. 70 minimum was what i was told as well. Anything below and it basically wouldn't be considered. Don't think the course you're transferring from has a massive weight, though to some extent I'd assume based on the subjects you chose. More to do with the ATAR you got. Especially if it's early in the course. If you got a 99, and are doing Environments or Agriculture, obviously it's not going to make a difference, but that's usually not the case. Most people trying to transfer courses after a semester or two are doing so coz they didn't make the cut off initially.
