Over-enrolment

Hey guys, has anyone successfully (or unsuccessfully) applied to over-enrol by 12.5 credit points before? Especially if it was for a reason other than changing your major/s late in your degree. I just want an idea of the success rate of an application. :)

Thanks!

I over-enrolled this Sem, since i have 75 credit points already and only technically completed 1 Semester (also wanted to do 4 subjects this sem). Wasn't much of an issue, just a one-week turn around (which is quite fast by UoM standards anyway)

Hey thanks for responding!

Just need to clarify, did you overload or over-enrol? Because I actually want to add an additional 12.5 credit points to my undergraduate degree of 300 points.

Oops, my bad, that's 'overloading', not 'over-enrolling' :/

Not sure if you're even allowed to over enrol
300 is the min and the max

yeah - from my understanding/knowledge I don't think you can over-enrol more than 300 credit points. I wanted to too but after speaking with my coordinator she said thats the minimum and maximum.

Thanks for the responses guys!  ;D

So no one's heard of anyone that's managed to take extra subjects or anything? http://ask.unimelb.edu.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/2848/~/extra-subjects

Is there a relevant concurrent diploma you could take? I'm taking a Bachelor of Science with a Concurrent Diploma in Mathematical Sciences (since it means I can add extra Mathematics and Statistics subjects to my undergraduate studies).
Currently studying at the University of Melbourne.

You can actually enroll in the single subjects through the community access programme. Though be warned that it does cost a swag and won't count towards your degree.
