Hey guys just wondering if an atar of 85-90 is possible with psychology, business management, further maths, physical education and english. I am averaging over 80 for 4 of them except english where i am averaging near the 70s :( , i picked up my game heaps as i didn't have the best start to year 12, but i am almost confident i can get a really high mark in the exams. Do you think its possible?

As with all subjects, it's more about where you rank in your cohort than your actual percentages on the SACs. Whether your SAC mark scales up or down is dependent upon how well your cohort does overall. So if your cohort in all those subjects is decently strong and those marks you've given us are above average then there is absolutely no reason why you would be unable to get an ATAR of 85-90.

The only thing you can do about your scores is to study. So do exactly that and remember that this year doesn't last forever, there is an end in sight. You don't want to look back and know you could've done better :)

My cohort is sort of divided into people who want to do really well and some people who really don't care. I am sure there will be a number of high achievers but there will be low performers as well. Will i still be able to do well considering i get an A or even an A+ in the final exam?

take out all thoughts like this, stop worrying, print out your study designs, and start studying your damn arse off. that's it. you have no idea how VCAA will scale your results, for all you know you could pull off near full marks and your sacs could scale brilliantly. but to answer your question: yeah you should be absolutely fine, :)
