Rounding in Further Maths

Hi everyone,

In terms of finance, or any other module where it is applicable, do I use the rounded answer to work out a question if it has already been stated in a previous answer? Or, do I use the unrounded value despite having already written the rounded one?

A few things:

1. Use unrounded values for calculation until you arrive at the final answer (then round to whatever it specifies).

2. For questions that have sub-parts or require the use of a previous answer, use the final answer you have specified for the previous answer in future calculations. As long as you have shown your step by step working, the assessor can go from there.

In general, when the answer for a previous question is expected to be rounded, then students should use that rounded final answer for the consequential question.
