Good Mod C Thesis For This Question?

(1/1)

pels:
'How do texts in this elective represent people and politics in compelling ways? In your answer refer to your prescribed texts and one related text.

Bit of a dodgy thesis, can anyone help me out with answering this, and if they studied anything on Auden's poems, some good pointers to talk about

Cheers

Throughout history, occasions have arisen in which influential societal figures, have commented and criticised upon historical events, which offer a new and refreshing opinion for the audience which they are addressing. The compelling nature of people and politics is represented specifically through the inevitable notion that people and politics are inextricably linked. Through the use of literary and poetic devices, the political and personal aspects that individuals uphold can be enhanced and exemplified through the texts that they create. This notion can be readily observed through the  renowned British poet W.H. Auden, whom created poetry such as "O What Is That Sound Which So Thrills The Ear?" (OWISTS), as well as "Spain", both written in 1937. Additionally, Malala Yousafzai's speech addressing the United States EPA (2013), in relation to her overwhelming experiences in Pakistan, ultimately obey the notion  that personal and political opinions lead to compelling representation of people and their views .

hey fam,
there's a whole forum thing where you can submit your thesis and get feedback more quickly that way
Personally I'd probably recommend that if they're asking how does it represent them in compelling ways you should say why it's compelling and why they chose to write something that's compelling/provocative
