Well.....two Fridays & Business Studies is over! :D

Does anyone have any tips & tricks for studying they can share?

Also....the burning question...Do we have to incorporate a case study (i.e. a case study as well as the hypothetical business) into our Business Report? Some teachers say to do it, others say it's not necessary....so I'm wondering if to practice with or without a case study?

Thanks! :)

Wait you've heard teachers say that you should incorporate business case studies into the business report section? I 100% certain you should not include any case studies into the report section.

Hey pughg!

In terms of studying for business right now, my advice would be to go through all past papers since 2011 and circle all the questions you don't think you'd be able to answer. From there, make a list of the topics these come from and formulate super notes (as jake likes to call them) just on those specific topics e.g. profitability strategies, new product design/development.

To answer your other question, you do not have to include a case study in section 3 - only in the essay in part 4. This is because the markers want to see you apply your knowledge of the syllabus to the business itself in the stimulus :)

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that.
I can put my mind at rest about a few things now!
All the best with studies everyone!

No case stuides in the report, case studies to be used in the essay
