Hey! When you integrate (ie. find the anti-derivative), you find the primitive function, sub in the top x value to see what pops out, do the same for the bottom x value, and subtract the two. In this case, they've given the primitive function to us, so we can read off the two x values. Clearly, for x=2, y=2. For x=0, y=-3. Therefore, 2-(-3)=5 will be our solution!
