What's uni like?

I'm preparing for VCE exams and would like some motivation haha
So if you could, please answer some of my queries I have regarding uni:
1) How is it different from high school?
2) Is social life more or less the same at uni compared to high school?
3) I'v heard doing Science at melbuni would be better than doing biomed if you intend on to do MD, is that true?
